Shiretoko Ra-ushi, a specified nonprofit organization based in the Shiretoko Peninsula, aims to develop community and lifestyle where humans coexist with nature, by informing locals as well as tourists of the area’s magnificent nature and its value. The organization also aims to solve environmental issues in Shiretoko by undertaking projects that conserve and restore nature.
